What was I doing?Over the course of the past month or so, I have been hard at work on LinkedIn Learning's Preparation for Unity certification course. In this course, we started by learning the fundamentals of the Unity game engine which I learned was much more complex than when we first did with Unity Learn a year ago. For example, we learned about the Universal pipeline renderer in addition to the standard 3D and 2D renderers. However, we also learned about other techniques such as application of C# knowledge to the engine to help make the game function as needed, which I found to be very useful. Personally, I really liked learning about AI and it's a real shame that I didn't have more time to delve into it. We then proceeded to learn about lighting which I didn't find too useful before delving into Game Design Documents and production management. Another very important thing that I learned from taking this course was how to use the Unity Asset Store and how to save packages. Before this course, I had to download all of the files over again after I completed the project. Now I know that in order to access files already downloaded to Unity, all you have to do is go under My Assets and you will find them there. In short...
